My neighbors named their triplets: Faith, Hope and Richard.

But the greatest of these is Richard?

More seriously.

If I had girls, I've always been partial to Faith and Hope. Grace/Gracie has always been my favorite. My buddy named one of his daughters Mercy

Why don’t you just say,

“Do Not Make Fun Of His Ears; common spelling.”

I have relatives who names their three girls Faith, Hope and Grace.

And then there was one poor girl named Emily McPartland. Unfortunately some kid started calling her Enema McFartland. The name stuck.

Yes, of course that is the girl’s name in Tequila Mockingbird. Hope they don’t name the boy Boo.

My youngest granddaughter is named Kendell. One of my daughter’s neighbors started calling her Kendellicious and now everyone is calling her Lish.

Sure, pregnancy is cooler than it used to be, with cuter clothes and celebrity role models. But putting a name's cool factor above all else won't make little Bronx's life very easy.

Love this one at #5, right after the authors say that the rules have changed, just three 'rules' earlier.

Fact of the matter is that naming little darling something that you think is special and beautiful has no bearing whatsoever on whether the child actually becomes special or beautiful. That takes actual parenting.

In the meantime, regular names for children are just fine, thank you. The 'special' comes from the child, not the name.

You remind me that the President of the United States, i.e., Barack Hussein or Barry Soetoro or something like that, (probably, but not necessarily, and I don’t mean to be judgmental) is perhaps the only man on Earth who would find nothing amusing about this thread.

There was a notorious Texas stripper named Candy Barr.
Involved with mobsters, Jack Ruby.
Real name; Juanita Slusher of Edna, Texas.
Quite a dish.
