I believe I read just yesterday that there is a tremendous amount of carbon dioxide released by composting.
I don’t know what they are going to do with that one.

Thank God. We’ve never used an ice maker in the frig. We’ve been saving the planet for years and had no idea. I think we need to get some frickin’ carbon credits for that - or something!!!

Now its your electric ice maker in your fridge thats killing the planet, meanwhile CO2 emissions fall significantly in the USADoes that mean if I go ice fishing instead of staying home and making my own ice I am saving the planet?

Let’s just shortcut the whole mess -
anything that improves your life will be condemned by the left as destroying the planet.

For most of my life I never had an icemaker. Then a few years ago, my wife talked me into getting the fridge with the icemaker and water in the door. I never use the water in the door The water tastes like the plastic tubing. I never use the ice in the door as it is the oldest ice and tastes like the freezer. BUT, I use a small scoop in the ice bin to get the freshest ice and it tastes great. Now, I would never buy a fridge without an icemaker.
Also, it makes me happy to know that I am helping, in a small way, to replace the world's ice lost to global warming. (sarc)

What do these wackos want? A return to non-electric ice boxes? Horses and buggies? Outhouses with no toilet paper? No running water in houses? Even then, they would probably still find something to b!tch about.

I'm stockpiling ice for all the iced tea that Algore's limo drivers will need to avoid heat stroke while waiting outside the idling, air-conditioned cars, standing ready to whip open the doors immediately for Senor CapnTrade at the conclusion of his speech excoriating the internal combustion engine and refrigerators.

If you buy this crap and don’t want to use it, that ice maker does have an off switch.
