The man is lucky he does not live in Old Testament times ( or in Iran today for that matter ).
He already made one false prophecy by predicting Christ’s return in September 1994.
I remember eagerly tuning in to his radio program on 94.7 FM in our NY-NJ-CT area band the day after he predicted it would happen to see what he had to say.... he simply ignored the non-event and continued on with his usual Bible Study Program on the Book of Ruth.

He's already a false prophet. He has previously said that his methodologies showed that Jesus would return September the 6th, 1994. He previously said that the Church age had ended May 21, 1988.
And no, he should not be stoned to death. Christians are not bound by the Mosaic Law.
