That pig needed a .22 in the head, as it was alive when the video ended. If it was going to be the guest of honor at a BBQ, I would think it should have been bled out, a simple task with a vehicle on scene and lots of help to hoist it up.

I like hunting but if an animal is felled and still breathing a hunter has a moral obligation to end it’s misery, quickly.
No reason it shouldnt work fine if the rifle is clean and functional. The Nagant round is more than powerful enough.
