Okay, here's the deal: Local radio legend Bob Rivers has returned to the air after a 6-month absence. He's known for his "Twisted Tunes" that skewer everything from sports to politics to local issues.
On the opening day of his new show (Apr. 1st), he premiered a new 'Twisted Tune' called "I Am Palin", done to the tune of Helen Reddy's 1970's feminist anthem "I Am Woman". In it, he makes fun of Sarah's intelligence, claiming she's nothing more than a "big time media whore". You can listen to the song at the link...

Anyway, Bob has a friend that has taken issue with the song. The friend says that Sarah is NOT stupid. No one on the show believes this. Bob has said that if he can find solid proof that she ISN'T stupid, he will retract his song. Now, the proof he's looking for has got to be more substantial than just saying "She couldn't have been governor of Alaska if she's was dumb". He looking for essays, statements from former professors, college grades, stuff like that.
I think that if ANYONE can come up with the proof that Mrs. Palin is far more than just a pretty face, FReepers can do it. I would love it if we could just INUNDATE Mr. Rivers with overwhelming evidence.
Come on folks, this is the same guy who did “Teddy the Red-Nosed Senator”. He’s an equal-opportunity offender. Lighten up.
I agree, I love Sara, I’d vote for her in a heartbeat but this is humor. Sara’s quite capable of not only taking it, but laughing at herself (something she has in common with Reagan). That’s the sign of a good leader. Most people haven’t ever and wont ever hear about this guy. We cannot be so hyper sensitive.

Thank you for posting those quotes from people who have actually worked with her. I have been waiting for more folks to read “Sarah Takes On Big Oil” for this very reason. Her personal books are nice to read, but this little book (which is difficult to read..technical stuff)reveals the kind of CEO Sarah is, and will be. She is very smart.

I really don’t engaged their Jr high sntics anymore other than to say that the left usually tells you who they are most afraid of and then to point out how childish it is to target a private citizen and their children then ask them how they would feel if I pointed out how ugly the first lady and kids are...which usually takes the heat off of Sarah and makes them go absolutley bonkers and even more childish.
The typical old cliched meme they hit with EVERY Republican: He/she is stupid. They say it so often that it becomes an article of faith to them.

Thats called proving a negative and NO ONE can do that. The burden of proof is upon them, not her supporters. Let them prove that Palin IS stupid. If he claims that he cannot find evidence that Palin isnt stupid, then he just wasnt looking in the first place.
