In his interviews, responses to the gallery, his on course profanity and his walk up the 72nd hole, Woods proved only one thing. He is still an ass.

Agreed - his on course/camera behavior is pathetic. I see no other player out there no matter how bad a shot they hit yell, spit, curse, whine and beyatch like he does.

Master Chief Duntno referred to him as the “Ted Williams of golf.”

All he has to do is win a few more majors and start screaming at the press HOW DO YOU LIKE ME NOW????”

Couldn't agree more. Clearly his game isn't back, but he's the same jerk he's always been.

The writer is a hack who knows little about the game. McIlroy’s play had nothing to do with Woods. 21 and all that pressure, and a history of bad rounds under pressure. That's what happened to McIlroy today. Woods was far ahead of him and McIlroy was leading at -11 when he collapsed on 10. After the triple bogey, his ability to focus was done. As he said later he started doubting his lines and his speed. That's a recipe for disaster at Augusta.

This idiots only care about creating some hype, playing up the Tiger story, because that's all the golf world has focused on for year. If he'd shot a 75, they would still be talking about him today - “how he's lost it” “what will happen to the game if he never wins again” blah, blah, blah.

He's been one of the dominant players in history, but a very bad representative for the game. Unlike Mikelson and other dominant players of this era, Woods has remained inaccessible to fans, given smug interviews when he's played poorly and generally has been a sore loser.

I can only imagine what the truly great legends of the game who are still with us - Palmer, Nicklaus, Player must think of this jerk. Or sure they smile and talk about how great a player he is, but he's really given the sport a black eye. Golf has always been about discipline, honor, grace under adversity. Tiger Woods had exhibited very little of that over the years.

I was always told and always considered golf to be a gentleman's game. Jack, Arnie, Gary, Tom, Lee, etc proved that. Tiger is not and never has been a gentleman. That is why I always rooted against him.
