A flock of ten flamingoes have met a brutal end at a zoo in Eskilstuna in eastern Sweden after a curious anteater broke into their compound and clawed them to death, leaving a further five birds nursing injuries.

It has been a cooler spring than normal here, it was up to the mid 90 this week for the first time. I have not fully explored the accusal measurement but I am ready to say my corn is high as an elephants eye. ( A small one.)

I hate when that happens. I loved what his mother said: “I can’t believe this would happen to him ... he’s such a keen fisherman!”
I suppose if something weirdly newsworthy happened to us, I’d say something that sounded bats, too.

Even better, he was out for five minutes before they could get him to make noise.
Did they stand there and poke him with a stick?

Welcome to the current Undead Thread.
We are set to leap to another thread soon.
Though setting that up is a different story entirely.
[Imagine setting up long range hyperspace coordinates while hungover and trapped in an industrial paint shaker, and typing on a sticking keyboard. That is what the task of picking out a new thread is like.]

posting prior to reading the thread is an old habit, but doing so prior to full ingestion of the 2nd large mug of coffee is usually not wise ! lol
i'll keep an eye out for the new undead .. most of the other crap on here is just too depressing most days
(i'll refrain from asking about the sticky keyboard issue)

Not asking about Darks’ keyboard is the smart choice, especially this early in the day. When he goes into detail about his technical issues, it’s rather like being slapped upside the head by a whale fluke.
At least, I find it so ... but I still yearn for my Selectric II, so ...

Haven't heard such things called 'technical issues', but suppose it's apt, tho I'd prolly opt for the fluke, given the choice

You could call them technical issues, spiritual issues, or security issues ... it’s a tenuous area.

You see? That is just wrong...
Unless said potatoes have been fried with bacon and eggs.
But let's not get sidetracked here, Bob is clearly showing the impetuousness of his youth in going to such risky extremes.
Er...
Not sure where I'm going with this. I just really don't have anything else to say.

My goodness, it sounds like ‘Face knows an awful lot about Pennsylvania that I have overlooked!
And good morning (where you are)! I have been to Walmart. Soon I’ll put Frank to bed (he was up before 6) and then I believe I’m scheduled for a Feline Affection Event with Jake. He’s lying in my bed with his catnip mouse, looking increasingly desperate. Why do I end up with these weird catz?
