What Boehner needs to tell the President

Mr President,

The current budget negotiations are at an impasse. The Republican party has controlled the House of Representatives since January 2011 and has done everything possible to pass a budget for 2011. Because the Democrat controlled House and Senate did not think it was a priority to pass a 2011 budget on time, we aren't making it a priority either. We will continue work on our 2012 budget and have it ready on time. The government of the USA is now shutdown, and will remain shutdown for the remainder of fiscal year 2011. Have a nice day.

Shut down the government until August when Congress can reconvene and work on passing the 2012 budget by Oct. 1 when the new fiscal year begins. Think of all the money we could save.
Belgium shut down their government last April and is still functioning. Surely we are as smart as the Belgians and could run our cities, counties and states without Big Brother harassing us.

What he needs to say, on national TV, to the President I cannot type for fear of being banned.

Mr Former Junior US Senator from Illinois,

The current budget negotiations are at an impasse. The Republican party has controlled the House of Representatives since January 2011 and has done everything possible to pass a budget for 2011. Because the Democrat controlled House and Senate did not think it was a priority to pass a 2011 budget on time, we aren’t making it a priority either. We will continue work on our 2012 budget and have it ready on time. The government of the USA will be funded at 2006 levels adjusted for inflation, the level that was sufficient for all the real responsibilities of government before Pelosi and her socialists seized power. Have a nice day.

The Democrats ran away from their responsibility to pass a budget last year when they controlled the House. They abdicated that responsibility to the Republicans. They should have NO SAY in what gets put into the budget now.
