How about The First Cut Is The Deepest by the original artist, Cat Stevens?I first heard that a couple of years ago on a "British Invasion" CD set. I like Cat's version. Too bad he went off the Islamic deep end.

I wish I could explain it better, but when you listen to Karen Carpenter sing, she makes you as vulnerable as she was. That is perhaps one of the finest and most succinct explanations I can imagine for the appeal of Karen Carpenter's voice. Bravo!
Step aside Ben Fong-Torres for Richard Kimball. :-)

I had to look it up. I’ll scratch it off my list of places to go. LOL

I hear ya about Karen Carpenter, my wife really likes her music...really likes it.
I grew up on Motown/Soul/Rock n'Roll and George Jones...but...(I've always liked Anne Murray)

Nine Inch Nails or Johnny Cashs version of Hurt. Bump for Cash.
To: Vince Ferrer
Trent Reznor agrees with you, he basically said it’s Johnny’s song now.
