Lauren’s voice sounded so much fuller and better than Haley’s in that side-by-side bit.
That’s because she is so much better. Noticed the same thing when sang with Scotty. Those side by sides are very revealing.

Now a cross-show tie-in Gordon Ramsey's new show. The Idols try to cook an omelet under the scrutiny of Chef Ramsey.
Ramsey samples Haley's dish. "As they say on Idol, this is pitchy." Dumps her plate in the trash.
Jacob's omelet. "It looks like vomit." But he likes it.
Lauren's omelet is the best. Chef is delighted.
The others are a mess.
Ramsey declares Lauren the winner and Jacob the runner-up. But the competiton isn't over yet, says the chef. "To Be Continued!"
Now for a song. Lady Antebellum performs live on stage (8:15 EST). "Just A Kiss".
