Idol is becoming too much of a “performance” audition than a vocal. Singers are being supported waaaaaaaaaaay too much by back up singers and one stage musicians. Did Kelly or Ruben have that? (I don’t recall to be honest).
I didn’t think James did that well. The screaming didn’t sound good. I fast forward through Blubber Baby Jacob’s performance.
No one stood out last night. I fast forward through all the judges comments because they aren’t worth hearing.
And yes, Lauren has dropped weight. Looks good. The camera was an danger of giving us a panty shot during her performance.
Stephano needs to go, followed by Jacob.

Jacob’s performance was a shameless emotional ploy, exactly what I like least about him.
Really disliked James’s song choice and performance. He has a good, strong voice and doesn’t need to explode like a bomb on the stage every time.
Lauren and Scotty, forgettable. Stefano, too boy bandish.
