A battle of the teenagers! :)
Yeah. I guess the "shock" about Pia was that she was eliminated before Stefano, Haley and Paul. I thought she would at least make it to the Top 5.
A few times tonight, when I was trying to type what he was saying I just gave up and wrote "he liked it" LOL
LOL, I agree.
Yes, Lumpy! I knew he looked familiar!
“Screaming Mimi” hahaha! Love it!
Lololololololol!
The dude who did the lame Elvis impersonation last week was strange. The rock dude seems to take himself way too seriously. The black dude sounds like every other black singer out there these days. All falsetto and overwrought attempts at what passes for R&B these days. Whatever happened to subtlety and exquisite phrasing in music? I haven’t heard the others sing yet, so no opinion on them. Am still at work posting from my cell phone. Frustrating to type on these things.
Tomorrow Kelly and Jason Aldean are supposedly going to be on AI to perform their mega country duet hit. It went platinum yesterday, I think, and has been released to pop, hot AC and AC in an attempt to get Aldean a cross-over hit. I think Carrie is out with new music too. They are still the #1 (Kelly) and #2 (Carrie) highest selling AI alums. So proud of them both.
Good to see you, Wolfstar. I miss your very knowledgable critiques.
I’m disappointed in this season. Many imitators—no unique singers. I haven’t even voted for anyone yet, as I can’t pick a favorite from such a ho-hum group.
Someone called for Mimi?
Wow. It sounds like I'm watching an entirely different show than a lot of you here.
I think Casey was the best performance of the night, followed closely by James Durbin. Durbin's facial ticks freaked me out at first, but I'm quickly becoming a fan.
I am completely surprised Scotty made it past the first Hollywood week, let alone getting into the final 10. What is everybody smoking? He's a nice kid but WAY out of his league.
She seems difficult and diva-like, but she is probably one of the most beautiful women around.
Lol, Mr. furley!!!
Yeah, Lauren had one Bump-it in her hair, but Mommy had two squirrels and several hairpieces in hers.
You too? I’ve been in love with RD jr since ally mcbeal. I forgave him for all that heroin even. He is so smart and adorable.
My take on tonight:
Little Rod - love that song but it did nothing for his voice. At least it was a song that wasn’t ruined by constant smiling.
Lauren - she definitely sings better than Miley, and is a joy to watch. Seemed really confident and comfortable up there tonight.
Little Ricky - did not suck like I expected. He sang it well, but he still looks like lucy’s husband mated with a lemur. Not sure he will ever escape the bottom 3 from here on.
Scotty - did not know the song, but he sang well and certainly is developing his performing style. For a young Christian boy he is pretty sexy. I bet there are little country girls falling in love with him everywhere.
Gnocchi Alfredo - I loved his song choice, I love it when Nat King Cole sings it, but I hated Casey’s delivery. He made stupid faces throughout, sang at about 70% strength (weak, maybe from illness), and cleared his throat twice during the song. I thought he stunk it up. A+ for song choice, F for delivery.
Haley - sort of liked it. There were some pitchy parts. Forgettable.
Man in the Mirror - he is really learning to hold back. His voice sounded great as usual, and I love that he didn’t try to swing or sway or shimmy. Unlike a lot of you, I don’t think he is pushing a gay agenda. I think he meant race not sexuality when he lectured us. Not sure he is a wild gay guy living the lifestyle. He may be living a quiet life instead of a lambert glam festival life. He seemed humbled after getting his slap down for that lecture.
James - I am not a metal fan, but I loved how seamlessly he performed and sang. He was so happy and really in his element, and I enjoyed it for that alone. There is no denying his talent.
Who will be sitting in the urinals tomorrow? I’m thinking Casey, Paul, and stefano. Going home? Maybe Casey.

He’s the only movie star left in the world. One of the great actors of all time too.
Wow. Free Republic is full of musical geniuses.
LOL
