The whole idea left me flat.
...that said, I wouldn't buy one of these for either of my toddler daughters, they are free to 'breastfeed' there regular dolls and, dear i say,**gasp** stuffed animals ;)
Totally agree. I wouldn’t buy it, but there’s nothing creepy about it. My grandaughter, age 2 occasionally breast feeds her Elmo doll (and encourages my wife to do so also).
Any normal child witnessing how to take care of a child would figure this out.
Oh, little boys can use it too.
:-O
Just another entrepreneur milking an idea for all it’s worth...
For adults I support breast feeding wholeheartedly
Thats what I got from his post. Kinda creepy response.
So when my 2-yr old daughter lifts up her shirt and puts her baby doll against her chest to mime what mommy does with our youngest, she’s sexualizing herself? You think I should stop her?
This is getting ridiculous. A child is perfectly able to use his or her imagination when playing, without requiring some silly garment or accessory to move the play along.
When we were little girls, we held the baby dolls to our chests from time to time, pretending to feed them. We didn’t require a special suck-on shirt.
We used to line up on the couch and pretend we were mommies driving the carpool. We did not need for our Mom to throw us the keys to the station wagon in order to play carpool.
I think the worst aspect of this toy is the total waste of money!
