Fantastic video clip of Dagny telling off a union boss
Interesting. I might like this movie.
Good scene. Honestly, I was not blown away by an earlier scene featuring Hank Reardon. I thought that one was good, but not great. This scene pleases me more.
I like it. I LIKE IT. Good portrayal of a Union Weasel. I am defintely going to see this movie.
I hope the rest of the movie has the same spirit.
“Put it in writing”.
I can’t wait to see Atlas Shrugged, even tho it appears to be horribly dated. Would rather have it set in the same era as the book.
Yea, another great line.
Atlas Shrugged won’t be showing in a theater anywhere near me. Here’s a link to theaters where it will be shown ...

The producer thinks the story is about “the empowerment of women.”
The screenwriter thinks it is an “underdog story.”

I’ve read the book several times over the past four decades and have given many copies to others.
I doubt I will be attending this film.
The screenwriter thinks it is an underdog story.
I've seen that. But the various trailers/scenes seem to reflect the book quite well. I wonder if they're just playing to the non-Atlas Shrugged audience. We're all going to go see it regardless. But they need the Wacko Left to buy some tickets as well.
Maybe I'm just an optimist. Time will tell.
I disagree - the arguments and the truths are more relavent today than ever before.
Look beyond the railroad - it’s the message.
Thanks for the link. It’s showing at 2 theaters near me in NYC!
checked the link: Shrugged is going to be in Bellingham!!!!
A very well done scene IMO.
Well, at least we will get to see it somewhere up here!
I also disagree. If the movie gets to the heart of the progressive era like the book does it will have proven that it was way ahead of the curve.
I believe we are now living the book less the rebellion of the doers. But that may still come as seen by the exodus from my state of N.J.
It isn’t even in my State! ...And Utah is such a “conservative” State.
It is a pet peeve of mine when movies, books, etc, take liberties with geography.
