Who knew ping.
Score another one for DARPA!
Score another one for DARPA!
Score another one for DARPA!
I have DARPA up by three so far. ;-)
I want one.
Has to get by the anti-technology environutzis and government first.
Kind of like ghostbusters
Curious as to what the forces and interactions are that extinguish the flame. The amount of directed energy to extinguish a house fire would probably leave extensive damage to everything in the immediate direction behind the pulse. Interesting though. :)
Ping.
LMAO
No, no, no...it must have been Al Gore...just like he invented the Internet.
Just a curious thought...would an electrical field make a Jihadi smile or frown?
LOL! Post of the day.
Some thoughts have a certain sound, thought being equivalent to a form. Through sound and motion, you will be able to paralyze nerves, shatter bones, set fires, suffocate an enemy or burst his organs. We will kill until no Harkonnen breathes Arrakeen air.
I wonder if it could dampen explosions, like internal combustion engines or rockets and jets?

“The device consisted of a 600-watt amplifier, or about the same power as a high-end car stereo system. However, Cademartiri believes that a power source with only a tenth of this wattage could have similar flame-suppressing effect.”
As a scientist, shouldn’t he have already tried it at the lower wattage before announcing this? Then he wouldn’t have to “believe” it might work at smaller scale, he would know one way or the other.
I mean unless they just discovered it yesterday with the 600-watt system, and haven’t had time to try it with a 60-watt model.
Probably just scientific illiteracy by the writer.
