That is what I have. The State Dept would only accept the one from the Health District. The military accepted the hospital certificate.
OK - time to clarify as I now have both in my hand.
Both of them actually say “certificate of live birth” at the top (Ohio).
The older one, which has RED INK (original) signed/issued 8/29/1977, has my name, date of birth, gender, hospital born in, mother’s name, address, age, state of birth, and same for my father (except address), then it’s signed by the doctor and registrar.
The other form I ordered from the State of Ohio just says:
My name, date record filed and file # (which matches other document), date of birth, parents names, MOTHER’S state of birth only. Then a seal and stamp that certifies it’s accuracy.
I'll tell you one thing about these eligibility threads -- they'll sure make you crack open the Constitution!
Thanks for that reference. I went through my desk copy and discovered that Amendment XXV Section 1, actually conflicts with Article II Section 1 Clause Six.
It says, "In case of the removal of the President from office or of his death or resignation, the Vice President shall become President."
I have no idea how to square that conflict. I don't see where the original language in Article II was repealed to make way for this amendment.
In Article II, it states, "In case of the removal of the President from office, of his death, resignation, or inability to discharge the powers and duties of the said office, the same shall devolve upon the Vice President..."

Well mine are different just a bit. It is around Obama’s time frame and from WA.
The Health Dept copy has Mothers maiden, Fathers name and DOB, place of birth for both. My official name and county of birth. It has a certified stamp and State Seal.
I'm literally throwing a party if Obama goes down for this. The media should fry for this, all of them.
I don't know why your logic isn't leading you to John Boehner. You posted the line of succession, just before the above paragraph, and he would be next in line behind Biden, who would be disqualified (we think).
