I have never heard of Popeyes or the others, but KFC (or Col. Sander's as we used to call it) is not as good as it used to be. Their coleslaw is very good though.

I think Popeye's is a southern thing. Same for Church's and Bojangles. In Texas we had Church's and Bush's, both very good.

I think someone mentioned going to "ethnic" neighborhoods for chicken earlier. When we were kids my dad would pile us in the car and drive us to the "black part of town", as he called it, because they had the best chicken. I don't know if he was full of it or what. But we made the drive nonetheless.

We don't have an ethnic neighborhood here, unless you count the Indian Reservation. Indian Tacos are great though!

There’s a Popeye’s in Minneapolis. I much prefer their food over KFC.

We have a Popeye’s in upstate NY, but no Church’s. Church’s has the best poppers!
