To me, his best is AFTER THE FOX. At the last, during his trial, they show the “movie” he made, some idiot critic in the audience begins to applaud, calls it a great film while being dragged out of the court.
It is funny because at that time much of the dreck made by “artistic” European film makers was this kind of junk. The film BREATHLESS (that critics rave about)is an example.
