JOYCE, Wash. (AP) -- Authorities in Washington state say a man who called 911 to report that his wife had collapsed apparently suffered a heart attack and died as he was trying to revive her.
The Clallam County sheriff's office says when deputies and medics arrived eight minutes later on Wednesday night at the home near Joyce, they found the man slumped over her body. He apparently had been attempting CPR.

I’d rather die in my sleep. Heart attacks sound painful.

I’d rather die than live without my wife.

There are two kinds of heart attacks, ones that are painful and give you enough time to seek treatment. The other kind, one minute your there, the next minute you are not.
Given the improvments in treatment of acute MI, I would prefer the former. 25 years ago, I would have said the opposite.
Compared to cancer, I would take either.

Id rather die in my sleep. Heart attacks sound painful. I want to pass peacefully in my sleep like my grandfather did - not screaming in terror like the passengers on his bus.

LOL, not at the moment. But I have cookies enabled, so if she ever decides to see what exactly I’m doing here on FR, I want my ping list to contain more than just my tiresome rants and Catherine Zeta-Jones pics.
