The possibility that Glenn Beck will exit the Fox News Channel at the end of the year has prompted a big question in media circles: if he leaves, how will he bring his considerable audience with him?

Methinks that Glenn may have been afflicted by the Male Mormon Drama Queen Syndrome.
Having lived in a 65% Mormon community for 7 years I’ve observed plenty of them.
LOL A couple weeks back the slimes said he was leaving because he doesn’t have any viewers now they’re asking if he’ll take his considerable audience with him.
The Times, cause only we could have less credibility than MSNBC.
Mayhap you are on to something. ;-)
Interesting. I would love for you to speak more about what you have observed.
I don’t put too much stock in this source.
Exactly! Plus, this Brian Stelter guy from the NYT’s is a rookie and likes to ‘start trouble’. He was the one that said that Fox had low African American viewers, and also did a piece against Sherrif Joe.
At the rate the Brian Stelter is going (writer of this piece), his work may be better suited for People magazine or the National Enquirer.
The article contains nothing but the writer’s speculation about speculation.
He might be able to pick up Algore’s Cap and Tax Channel pretty cheap. Nobody watches it anyway.
Don't tell that to Amazon.com or the authors whose books he recommends.
Nahhh, the only drama queen here is the author of this article. Glen just revealed some great investigative work today. Hope you were able to hear the audio of a meeting where union heads, Francis Scott Piven, and others are planning to sabatage the stock market (Beginning with targeting the banks, JP Morgan in May). Even if you dislike Beck, it’s an alarming audio.
Hope he does. FNC is unwatchable as it is with the parade of libtards all day long. I rejoice in their demise.
Ah Man, not this sh!t again!
We desperately need a 24 hour conservative news program. Why couldn’t it be completely Internet based. It would tank Fox’s ratings like the Titanic.
First off let me say that I know plenty of stand-up men who belong to the Mormon religion so this is not a rant against Mormonism.
However, I have observed plenty of Mormon men who get into the bad aspects of their religion that obsess with power, “pseudo-polygamy” (sexual conquest outside of marriage), and money. When they get caught they turn into drama queens and their brother Mo’s who hold positions of power will do their best to cover for them a’la the “good old boys” network.
I am not in any way implying that GB is cheating on his spouse or dishonoring his family.
He is bright, intense, and sometimes a bit annoying but not a very deep thinker. If this is true about him starting his own network ne may be indulging in delusions of his own grandeur.
I hope not because we are on the same side. If he would start a “Conservative News Network” fine, I’m “down with that.”
However, his past episodes of personal drama shared with the public make me think that his stability may be a bit fragile.
Agreed, but you know what the problem is? The advertisers.
They’re skeered it might taint them.
Yet Rush, Hannity, Levin, Savage, Ingraham, Beck, Miller, Davis, Beckmann, (impossible to name all the local markets) and a few hundred others don’t have this problem.
“FNC is unwatchable”. I absolutely agree, quantim. Why would we informed Conservatives want to endure sitting through the likes of Shep, Geraldo, O’Reilly, Alan Ferret Colmes or Lanny Libtard Davis? It’s torture and a huge waste of time.
I listen to Conservative talk radio: Rush, Levin, Ingraham, local Milwaukee hosts: Belling and McKenna. And here on FR is where to get the best news and commentary.
If it were an Internet based news “channel” where is the cost? It wouldn’t need to be fancy and slick. Surely they could find enough sponsors to make it worth while.
And...Who needs top name talent? Think about it. Who had heard of Drudge or Joseph Farah before the Internet? Few to none?
