I saw a ship and two creatures inside of this ship
And they were connected to me, tapped into my mind through some kind of mysterious wireless connection, explains Sammy Hagar in his new book, Red: My Uncensored Life in Rock. The brief memoir, whose release coincides with "Alien Abduction Day", is not the first instance in which the former Van Halen singer has offered public disclosures of ET contact. A new report from a Vancouver audio lab suggests that Sammy Hagar was covertly communicating about alien abduction as early as 1991.

Has anyone tracked these guys’ histories of drug use vs ummm... strange experiences?
“I should be able to remember but cant, what was Sammy doing before he went Van Halen?”
A moderately successful solo career, preceded by a few years in Montrose.
Love Mr. Mackey! Thanks.
I’ve always loved that song, it rocks! Thanks for posting it.
Proof of a Coverup? The Strongest Evidence Yet.
Sunday, March 6, 2011 (Whitley Strieber)
The announcement yesterday that the British National Archives had lost all of the intelligence reports on the Rendlesham Forest UFO incident was chillingly similar to the announcement by the American General Accounting Office in 1995 that essentially all of the records from the Roswell Air Base covering the years of the Roswell Incident had been illegally destroyed.
No records from Roswell deposited between 1947 and 1952 could be recovered, and British archivists have found a “huge gap” where the 1980 Rendelsham records should have been stored.
At the same time, press reports of the latest release of UFO documents by the Ministry of Defense have emphasized those that were easily found to be hoaxes, mistakes and, in one case, an elaborate practical joke.
What this amounts to is this: all records of both of the most important known UFO incidents are missing. I know that this is circumstantial evidence of a coverup, but it is nevertheless compelling, especially in view of just how much participants in the Rendlesham incident are now saying. (Unknowncountry.com subscribers should listen to Linda Howe’s reports on this, complete with interviews of some of the witnesses. To do so, type Rendlesham into our search engine and you will find not only her report, but also an extensive archive on this important case, including a 2006 interview with British MoD UFO expert Nick Pope.)
In both of these cases, official archivists and researchers have found missing records but no indication of who took them. It would not have been easy for members of the public to steal these records from either archive. However, it would have been harder to steal the Roswell records, especially because it wasn’t just records of the incident itself, if any, but the entire archive of base operations over a period of years. This could easily have involved hundreds of pounds of documents.
In both cases, there was almost certainly official involvement in the removal of the records. It is difficult to believe otherwise. Of course, intelligence services would have had access to them, as would the Royal Air Force and the Ministry of Defense in Britain and the US Air Force and Defense Department in the US.
In both cases, somebody removed these documents. So the two most important military UFO cases have been erased from the record.
To me, this strongly suggests that they are real cases, that they concern some sort of unknown event that governments do not want exposed to the public. And, judging from what witnesses in both cases have said, this involved encounters with unknown technology, and, in the Rendlesham case, with unknown beings. (This may possibly be true in the Roswell case as well, but none of the direct witnesses discussed them.)
This is a time of rapid and extraordinary change in the whole UFO field and in the way we look at the potential for life in the universe around us.
In the UFO field, there is a serious upheaval taking place involving the way the Mutual UFO Network is managed and how its archive is handled. Famed abduction researchers Budd Hopkins and David Jacobs are having their research called into question in some very serious ways, and now Dr. John Mack’s techniques are being questioned as well.
In science, the Kepler project has recently announced that there must be “billions” of earthlike planets in our galaxy alone, and, just yesterday, a NASA scientist announced the discovery of a fossilized microbe in a carbonaceous chondrite, a rare type of meteor that contains carbon and possibly, therefore, organic material. Not only that, the structure of the fossil suggests life-building processes similar to those that take place here on earth.
So science is opening the door to the possibility that the galaxy around is could be a prolific source of life. At the same time, theories of alien abduction are being called into question, but also it appears almost certain that a coverup of UFO incidents is indeed in place.
My bottom line is this: I have never been satisfied with the quality of abduction research or the methodologies in place. In my new book, ‘What is to Come, the Solution to the Communion Enigma,’ to be published by Tarcher/Penguin in January of 2012, I discuss the sorts of research protocols that need to be put in place in order to determine what is actually happening to close encounter witnesses.
It is perfectly possible to solve this mystery right now. It isn’t necessary to hunt up UFOs or communicate with aliens. The answers are present in the minds and bodies of the witnesses, and have only to be properly analyzed.
But there are two very large questions: why hasn’t this been done already; and what is the reason for the UFO coverup and the extensive official denial that still goes on?
The only way to answer these questions is for the lost records to be released, although I fear that they are long since destroyed, and for proper research into the lives of close encounter witnesses to be conducted by qualified scientists.
Why were the records destroyed? Could it be because they represent some sort of epochal failure on the part of the military, perhaps that mankind had a chance at contact, the single greatest event in the history of the planet and the species, and they somehow ruined it? They could have done. At the time of the Roswell Incident, as now, many US Air Force personnel are conservative Christians, and believe that their can be no life in the universe except human beings, angels and demons, and that only demons travel the universe in conveyances. Angels don’t need them.
This fiction is taken very seriously, so it could be one of the motivations for coverup. The fear would be that revealing the truth would destroy cherished beliefs.
It is also possible that we do have alien visitors, and they are enforcing the coverup for their own reasons.
In any case, the public is being denied the truth, there is now little question of that. The Roswell records will likely never be found. It is possible, though, that the Rendlesham records will be—but that what is released will not be the whole story any more than the Ministry of Defense has released all of its UFO records.
Whatever its origin, there is no question that the mind of man is being immeasurably diminished by this coverup. It is time and past time for somebody somewhere to be honest with us, and tell us what has been taken from the records, and why.

Do you believe some UFO sightings are actually visits from extraterrestrials?
63% 25% 12% |
Yes. With the number of stars in our galaxy, it's impossible to believe that we haven't been visited by the inhabitants of other planets. Maybe. Aliens might have visited Earth, but so far there is not enough compelling evidence to convince me. No. It's just not rational to think that any of the UFO sightings are visiting aliens. |

The British Ministry of Defense confirmed that a secret study completed in December 2000 had found no evidence that "flying saucers" or unidentified flying objects were anything other than natural phenomena. What do you think?
41% 35% 21% |
UFOs certainly exist. There's no way we're alone in the universe. UFOs might exist. Absence of evidence isn't evidence of absence. UFOs are pure science fiction. |
Sammy is the best. He is worth tons since he sold his Cabo Wabo tequila for 80 million. He did the best and is the most sane of everyone in Van Halen. His recent book with the tidbits about Eddie and Alex Van Halen is hilarious. Eddie is a total wasteoid.
I suspect PETA (People Eat Tasty Animals/Aliens) may be knocking on your door for that comment.. < /humor >
Just as long as it’s not greys knocking.
Oh, right, they don’t knock.
Lord, Jesus, please keep them far away from me!
