Now that was funny and the dog clearly was not underfed.

My old Black Lab Duke used to do the same thing. He lived two weeks past his 14th birthday and died in my arms. I still miss him
Labs are just THE BEST!

The innocent one probably did it and the guilty looking one was taking one for the team.

Dude is totally misreading that dog’s body language. Ears back and teeth bared is a warning signal. Dog was in a defensive, potentially fear biting posture. Dog went to kennel for safety, to get away from the human towering over him waving that thing in his face.

In my opinion, both of the canines were guilty of consuming the feline treats. It was a conspiracy.

I don’t know Sam...The bite mark on the bag appeared to match suspect #2 better.

I totally agree, Wolfstar. The lab was exhibiting appeasement behavior until the owner starting shoving that empty bag in the poor dog’s face. Not funny, not funny at all.

He should have eaten the bag as well. Then there wouldn’t have been any evidence until the next day.

My lab would grin like that also. And no it was not being mad, defensive or scared. I thought it was something it learned but maybe labs do grin at times. Now if it was scared or defensive it’s hackles were up and it was barking. Never did that to me or those it knew but only the strangers. I loved my lab. Also died at age 14.
