What in the heck is keeping Obama's poll numbers from falling through the floor? With everything that is going wrong, and having some within his own party questioning his leadership, one would think that his approval numbers would be in freefall by now! Anyone have any opinions?
Take heart my friend. People buy gasoline and food every week. The MSM can't cover that up. If we can't defeat Baraq based on 10% unemployment, surging prices, and $1.5 trillion deficits, then we deserve him.

For about half the voters in America, it's all about the "free stuff", confiscated from productive Americans and handed over to them, the deadbeats, in exchange for their Democrat votes. Things like "honesty", "integrity", and "good character" are totally irrelevant.
That's just where America is today. (shrug) It was great while it lasted, but nothing lasts forever.

Even my mother, who is a staunch conservative, evangelical Christian who did not vote for Obama recently said that he's "not too bad." zerØ has the smooth, GQ style that most women (and many pansied men) can't see past, and the image carries them away.

Disagree with me or not, but since 2008, the media has been exposed on many fronts, with the obvious (MSNBC, Olbermann, Rich, Couric, Williams, Begala, Krugman) but also the networks like CNN and ABC, NPR/PBS, the print media and Hollywood have effectively been “outed” by even Liberals who concede that the mass media will not criticize Obama because, as Lawrence O’Donnell said, “He’s Black and Liberal.”
I think, frankly, by viewership and circulation, most Americans know that the news is biased and Leftist.
Obama can have as much fluffing (pardon the visual) by the media, but with umemployment being really nearly 20%, gas at $5 and the optics of an aloof elitist, there could be a good chance for SARAH PALIN in 2012.

It’s all how you ask the questions. I daresay Adolph Hitler could lead in a poll designed to ask certain questions to elicit certain positive answers. If you asked questions like, “Did the trains run on time?” You’d find the majority of Germans polled found the service to be excellent. The only poll that counts is the one tallied up at the end of the election. All others are either rigged when taken or when the answers are given. Some folks like to play when asked a question with answers designed to mislead.
There are a lot of very stupid, blind citizens who couldn’t put two thoughts together if you gave them a month. They voted for Obama and are going down with Obama.
Fact is one third of the country are socialists, left wing libs or out and out communists. The MSM is 85% leftie. Freedom loving patriots have a lot to overcome.
We need to teach our women (and men) the difference between a patriot and a Marxist; maybe if we demanded that all our children learn something about economics, history, government, geography, science, engineering, etc. they would be better equipped to make decisions. “Women’s Studies” and “Afro-American Literature” just isn’t going to cut it.
We are handing the reins of our republic over to an unprepared and misinformed group mired in a permanent adolescence.
