Thank you. I reminded my daughter that it is a religious Holiday to celebrate St. Patrick who brought the word of God to the Irish people and used the clover to represent three leaves in one...just like the Holy Trinity.

What bothers me along with amateur drinkers tonight and idiots who dress up in green thinking it makes them Irish is how teachers push this holiday onto kids who are not irish and have no desire to pretend they are.
Yet Christmas is a big no no.
Course elected officials will become plastic paddies too in the hopes of getting a few more votes.

My daughter is not yet 5, but she knows very well what we celebrate on St. Patrick’s Day, and why the shamrock is the symbol of both St. Patrick and Ireland. And we’re not even Irish!
