I think you might be forgetting that 'Dreams' has no chronolgy, and the author clearly states that some characters are composites.

Of all the theories I’ve read, I like the one about his grandfather Stanley Dunham. I have seen early pictures online of Obama with grandpa Dunham and read about how much he looks like his grandfather. ( If Barack Sr. was Obama’s real father, how come he doesn’t look like Louis Armstrong?) The theory is that Stanley Dunham fathered Barack with a Hotel Street prostitute in Honolulu, a district he reportedly frequented. He agreed to take the baby and his daughter wanted a baby. In February 1961 she arranged the marriage to fellow student Barack Obama Sr. who was still married to a woman in Kenya.

I'd have to say that theory is the most amusing of the alternative paternity theories. But, as SatinDoll points out, it fails to explain why Toot didn't go critical and melt down the Dunham nuclear family. Instead, the family stayed intact, and Toot and Gramps raised Obama while his mother was off doing anthropology and indeed put Obama through a top private school in Honolulu.

Of all the alternative fathers proposed, Malcolm X seems to resemble him most closely. But if X is the father, when and where did he meet Stanley Ann? Was Malcolm X in Hawaii at the right time? J. Edgar Hoover reportedly was keeping a file on him.

You asked where and when Malcolm X might have met Stanley Ann.

If “Dreams” is to be believed (and that’s a big IF), Stanley Ann was in Chicago the summer of 1960 working as an au pair.

The book is hazy on the date, but tells of her recollection of seeing “Black Orpheus” that summer, and that movie was released in December, 1959.

X was hq’d in Chicago.

However, if other theories are considered, in particular that Stanley Ann is not Barry’s bio-mom (no pg pix, no witnesses, no evidence whatsoever that she bore him), your question would be moot.

Frank Marshal Davis - I’ve heard that stinker about his being Obama II’s dad a great many times.

Look at each man’s ears. Very telling, those ears. Most folks skip right over them but ears are consistent among family members, especially the ear lobes.

Go ahead and look - Davis’s are so small he really doesn’t have any ear lobes. But Obama Sr. and Obama II sure do have pendulous lobes, and their ears are similar.

I know, everyone laughs when I point that out. Facial characteristics among family members can be quite variable ( I don’t look like anyone in my nuclear family; sis looks just like our mom). A single trait, like ear lobes, usually can be very similar among family members.

I think you are right the date of the photo may be off a year. I have personally done that after scanning and digitizing old photos that were stuck in a shoe box.

Then the question becomes - on what passport did BHOII/Barry Soetoro/Saebarkah Soetoro travel on when leaving and entering Indonesia?

Also I have Obama traveling with his mother in October 1971. From here:

So I have always recorded the last date or ‘re-entry’ to the US as this October 1971 date.

Now Maya was born in August of 1970. Did they send Obama/Barry/Saebarkah back to the US during that time?

In 1968 SAD/S took Obama/Saebarkah OFF her passport. Did he go onto another one? Did he need one as a minor?

If he had his own US Passport at this time it would be almost as good as a BC. But that has not shown up either.

Note that people resign from the Bar Association all the time--usually because they don't want to comply with CLE requirements; commonly under conditions in which such failure to comply is treated as an ethics violation for which you can be kicked out.

In both of the states with which I am familiar, that is the single most common reason for resignation. Right behind at #2 is failure to establish, maintain and use a trust account that provides that the interest earned goes to the bar association to support worthy (left wing) objectives.

Not to say that is why he (and Michelle) resigned; but it would not be surprising. Many lawyers have trouble complying with CLE rules.

While Tom Mboya wanted the promising youth of Kenya educated in the West, OGINGA, who visited Malcolm X in Atlanta in 1960, favoured a communist education.

But as Barak Hussein Obama - the son of a kenyan goat-herder made it known in an interview in May 1962 that he had NOT BEEN BACK TO KENYA FOR SEVEN YEARS it's obvious that Tom Mboya had nothing to do with the son of a kenyan goat-herder coming to Hawaii.

Here’s my take:

The Soviets wanted a Democrat Manchurian Candidate long time.

How to get their man in? Obviously they needed a stooge for the young man, that is why the young photos appear a lot blacker. Then when they had a candidate who passed through Lamumba, they swapped him, (when Obama goes missing, or even earlier if they chose FMD or the Muslim as dad).

Stanley never had Obambi, she couldn’t have, and gone to school in Seattle. Someone else called Anna went there.

So the latest Obambi turns up eventually and becomes President.

The CIA know all about who passed through Lamumba. How come George Bush 1 didn’t?
