This year was actually a good year for movies, as Ive written repeatedly. The Kings Speech was great; so was Toy Story 3; Inception may go down as one of the most creative films of all time. The Fighter was excellent as well.
Then there were the overrated films. Black Swan was atrociously awful, another Aronofsky masterpiece of self-aggrandizing bullcrap. The Kids Are All Right was a TV movie masquerading as a prestige film because it was about lesbians. True Grit was a remake.

Yes, Harrison Ford was good in that one but Rutger Hauer was fantastic. I’d have to agree with what you said, that Hauer “stole that movie” from him. :-)
What? No Mel Brooks-I love everything he does. The Producers both the last one and the first one, and Blazing Saddles you didn’t like?
Leonardo DiCrapio is Hollywoods "IT" boy, whatever IT is.
And Kate Winslet??? All the raving about her being SOOoooo Beautiful? Please! Simply average...at best.
**MANOS, The Hands of Fate**
MST3K couldn’t even help that one
Yeah...he don't give me a woody or nuthin.
Even Beyond the cliche Leftwing message and story,
its still nothing more than a fancy expensive cartoon,
Nothing like preaching anti-capitalism and then plagiarizing
Roger Dean's art without giving him a cent.
I loved that.
‘..It’s Springtime for Hitler..’ hmmm LOL
Speaking of James Dean, I have never been able to get through the move Rebel Without a Cause without falling asleep. I have tried several times!
Vanilla Sky...zzzzzzzzzzz
I’m not a chick, and I thought it was a great movie.
Personally, I think the reason why it gets such bad reviews (while simultaneously reigning from its release in 1997 until last year’s Avatar as by far the highest-grossing movie in history) is that a lot of people ended up embarrassed that they went and saw it 5 or 6 times and cried each time. :-)
every single oscar winner for the last 20 or so years.

An awful Mel Brooks movie: “History of The World Part 1.”
Really bad. Thank God he never made a “Part 2.”
