This movie gets my vote for number one best ever. Convention sequence is brilliant allegory of Palm Sunday.
Mr Smith Goes to Washington and Mr Deeds Goes to Town are also in the top 5.

It’s funny to go through the casts and see what names pop up. Alan Hale, Preston Foster... I remember watching a show called ‘Waterfront’ as a kid.
