I suppose I can count on you being the next dick in line at the airline check-in who refuses to submit to a rectal exam before boarding.
If you can’t comprehend the irony, you’re dumber than you look.
No.
The receipt checkers (and you) can go pound sand.
Well Wal-Mart could just make everyone check out up front. That would fix the jerks problem and also wal-mart’s. Might have to take longer to check out but hey there is always some jerk that ruins things for everyone else. Personally I hate theives and the laws are written to help theives. I was at a Belk’s store taking to the check out girl and she told me they can do absolutely nothing if someone walks out with tagged merchandise. They just let them walk. They are so afraid of being sued they let it go.

I’m a pretty big guy and gee, I hate waiting in line, although I know it’s a rule but it makes me wait, wastes my time and puts me out—so I might just start bitching out the cashier and pushing my way to the front of the line, etc. etc. `cause, you know it’s an infringement on my rights and the next thing you know they’ll be doing body searches on us and wah wah wah.
Looks like a gang of libertarian toughs has invaded this thread on private store policy with their popped collars, Docker pants, gold jewelry and Axe body cologne.
And attitude.
;^)
So let Wally World escort the shopper to the front of the store once he/she has made his/her purchase. That way, they *know* the Tee Vee wasn’t shoplifted.
And they will lose another customer for treating them like shoplifting scum.
Way to go!
I take my business elsewhere. No problem. It’s cool.
Hi Daffy, I have been stopped going into the store for a return, but never leaving the store...I guess old people don’t steal, they just bring things back....:O)
May your chains rest lightly...
It sounds to me like he is standing up for his rights under state law. Does that make you a Jerk these days? He wasn’t rude, didn’t raise his voice, didn’t call people names...he just stauck to his guns.
A company can’t impose rules that supercede state law. He was well within his rights to do what he did. Far better that, then blind obidience to what ever arbitrary rules people feel like imposing.
I bet this guy wouldn’t refuse to show his CCW license to a cop who asked for it even if there was a state law that said he didn’t have to.
LOL... I usually use bag...even if it’s from a different store. You’re *lookin’* fer trouble!
When asked for a picture ID...I always pull out my CCW... the reactions are priceless.
One summer in college I worked at a department store. One of our VPs used to actually cover the first floor as undercover security. One day, he held the door open for a guy carrying a microwave oven. It turned out to be a shoplifter and our security guys WHO WAS ALSO AN EXEC was on tape holding the door open for him.
LOL
Gimme a break. We're talking Wal-Mart (a private business, BTW), not the US Constitution. This jerk needs to shop online.
Then you lead a charmed life. I've run into rude checkers both at the Wally World we both share and the one down in Aberdeen.
I have a libertarian streak and I happen to work in construction as a blue collar stiff. You can take your stereotypes and stuff them up your bloated aft brain cavity. Since you’re a “big guy”, perhaps you’d best go on a diet and think twice before attacking those with willpower and principles. You might gain both.
