He had several outright degrading insults to citizens in his pitch....but the liberal masochists eat this up. He's going into total control phase in his speeches through various psychological tools....watch for it.

Well we might see a return, or private developers and manufacturers might - but not while the gummint is in there subsidizing them. Drop the subsidies, let the market decide. That’s why iPads are winning and Palm is losing, and countless other examples all around us. If the gummint had picked Palm to be the winning technology and propped it up artificially, where would things be? The only way for green tech to be a sustainable part of the solution is for it to create value on it’s own merit, no different than anything else. And the incentives of the free market are the only things that have been proven time after time to drive the investment in research and development that can turn new ideas into profitable and sustainable solutions.
We can only hope!

No more Obama drinking games that use “Let me be clear”.
Nobody is trying to reduce expenses in Washington. Someone needs to ask him if there was actually $60 billion in cuts how many days of federal expenditures that equals to. Since I have never seen his college transcripts so I’m unsure if Obama can do math so could someone tell him $60 billion is about 36 hours of spending?
Note that he has no plans. He has no ideas. He is all woulda, gonna, shoulda with nothing behind anything.

It is due to price. Econ 101 - when price increases, so does supply. In North Dakota, they are pumping oil as fast as they can right now because they can sell it for $100/bbl. When oil was at $50/bbl, pumping oil simply was not profitable for them.
