You nailed it. Monica's spinsterhood has less to do with her love for Clinton than it does with the fact that essentially no men have a desire to marry an international joke.

Harsh? Perhaps, but realistic. No serious man would want her. She became a laughingstock and any husband would know that people would be forever snickering behind his back. Sadly, I think the best she can do is find some guy who wants her for her $$ (which I assume she has). Its sad in a way because at the time she probably had no clear idea of what she was getting into.
