On any given day, Glenn Beck’s show at 5:00 PM Eastern on Fox News, has better ratings than Fox’s Greta Van Susteren’s show that runs at night, prime time shall we say. Susteren, regardless how weak she is versus the others in the evening at FNC, is still stronger than the hot-heads on MSNBC and the losers at CNN. Therefore, it is strange the Drudge Report-posted pending NYT story that Fox and Beck will part ways.
Indeed, Beck being “extreme” may be the reason as to why Beck may end his career at Fox. However if he is extreme, in addition to having ratings way better than Maddow, Shultz and others, maybe MSNBC should hire Beck…

Back when I watched TV, I thought Greta was a better interviewer than anyone else on the network.
You can only call for so many conspiracy theories before the views begin to question your sanity and flip the channel to a Lawrence Welk rerun.

I don’t care what church he goes to or any of that.
He gets a whole lot of credit for waking people up.

I appreciate Beck’s wake up call. He is like a modern day Paul Revere and I believe he has woke alot of people up.
Indeed, I was shocked here on FR last year when people felt that a lack of advertisers was not important. I think they do not realize the economic dynamics of television.
IMHO Greta is the best interviewer on TV. She lets the interviewee speak, but challenges them when they seem to be lying. Her interview of a female Dem Wisconsin state senator was outstanding. By her words and her demeanor, Greta did not let the senator get away with her outlandish repeated statement....basically that the Dems had to flee the state so that people would have time to find out what was in the legislation......17 days? ssssuuure
Another problem is that his viewership skews to the 50 and above age group and advertisers have little interest is selling their shlock to the bluehairs.
Shouldn't his magic underpants protect him from this sort of thing?

He has been the spearhead in the conservative renaissance. People that just think that he doesn’t mean anything have their head up their rear.
