When my middle-aged divorced women friends ask me about middle-aged guys they are dating that have never been married, I tell them that there is a reason they have never been married and to stop wasting their time with those guys. None of those women ever married to one of those kind of guys.

And yet... I married a middle aged, never married, before guy. He has made a terrific husband.

Same for another friend of mine who married a middle aged, never before married guy. The quiet and shy ones tend to be overlooked. But when you take the time to cultivate them... oh baby!
