Well? What are those "national security objectives we've set? Remember the look of cold hatred on his face? We all know who "we" is to Obama and his ilk, if it's Malcolm X, Elijah Mohammed, Jeremiah Wright, Bill Ayers, Saul Alinsky, Bernadine Dohrn... you know, those folks who said it might be necessary to eliminate 25 million Americans.
Nobody I know of in popular media has come up with an adequate explanation for that quote. Yet look at the timing of this programme. Bammy and Holder set up Gun Walker almost the moment they took office. That means they had to know what they wanted to accomplish before then and how. I promise you: their goal was not to make drugs less available in inner cities and Hollywood. Nor is the idea that he was helping Mexico throw off the cartels terribly credible, as Bammy didn't know Felipe Calderon from Mother Theresa, nor was Mexico a high priority compared to Iraq, Afghanistan, Guantanamo, or taking the levers on all that lovely money to game the financial meltdown. No, given that he did this almost from the day he took office demonstrates that his likely objective always has been to take this country down for ill, because it represents a serious move in a long planned multifaceted strategy, an element that he knew was going to take time to develop. This operation continued WAY too long for it to be a simple sting. There was also far more material involved than was necessary. There is just no way that story flies in reality.
Is the drug war enough of a cash flow to arm "the people" so that they are "just as well funded" to fight those eeeevil bourgeois, to return the land 'white America stole' to Mexican peasants, to the Indians...to "the people" (whoever his hate-addled mind thinks they are)? I promise you: The left does not under-estimate middle America. They will not move unless they think there is a chance "we" can win. They need us on our backs before they go, and this long series of slow predations in food, fuel, inculcating and "us against them" mentality among law enforcement unions, and now adding medical authority is just what they need to make it easier. They will push that for eventual simple suffocation, but they know how to pull the lever should conflict be to their advantage or if the situation becomes desperate. The international left is patient and willing to take a big hit as long as things move in their direction. Remember there were attempted communist takeovers in Germany in 1848 and the 1920s before they got their guy in 1933.
