Democratic state Rep. Nick Milroy (South Range) was tackled by police Thursday evening while he was trying to make it inside the Capitol in Madison.
He picks his ID tag up from the ground at the end of the video.
Should have pepper sprayed him also.
I agree 100 percent he was just trying to get attention and make a scene.
I agree. He seems like he’s in the ‘being a Democrat means being above the law’ camp.

You know what? So am I. I am wondering what the outrage would be here on FR if (when?) this happens to a "friendly" representative. Imagine a state where Democrats are in power and they're tackling a resistant Republican like this. We'd be freaking out, IMO.

Read some of the comments at the site. The public schools are doing a wonderful job at brainwashing the youts. However, someone needs to tell these bozos we live in a republic not a democracy.

A Republican would probably not be so arrogant (and stupid) as to try and push past a bunch of Policemen who are charged with keeping people OUT of the building, evidently without explaining who he is or showing ID. If, by chance, a Republican acted similarly to this jerk, I’d be reacting the EXACT SAME WAY... Good for the cops.
If I understand this correctly...he just wanted to get his clothes. :) Is that the only change of clothing he has? He’s wearing clothes...what about his closet? Doesn’t he have more clothes than what he is wearing and what is in his office? Seems humorous but...if he knew the Capitol was closed...why did he go there? Looking for trouble? I think he found it.

Milroy’s one of several Dems with first floor offices who literally pushed their desks/phones/chairs out the window and crawled out the window after them, setting up offices outside to ostensibly meet their locked out constituents...as cameras whirred. If Milroy hadn’t abandoned his Capitol office as a publicity stunt, the officers inside might have recognized him.
I don't know, looks like a gun under his shirt.
Isn't diversity grand.
