Everyone wants to grow whatever they CAN’T grow in their area just to prove that they can!

Is that like growing papaya in the Texas Hill Country? People look at my papaya's and tell me that I can't grow them in Texas. My retort is, "Why, is it illegal?"

People do that up here with figs. They are OBSESSED. Too much work, IMHO. What I would love of my own would be an avacado tree. THAT would be heavenly! :)
