I can’t stand mobile apps. They’re just short-bus versions of the real site, good for almost nothing. The mobile version of eBay, for example, is completely useless.
On a real smartphone the regular page loads just fine.

Not officially, yet. But, the way FR functions, it is very usable from pretty much any mobile device. I'm a member of many different forums of all types and FR is the only one that works consistently well across all mobile platforms I've tried (Android, Blackberry, Apple).

Most threads look fine on my Blackberry Torch. However, many here on FR have a habit of posting HUGE pictures that are like 800-1000 pixels wide. When those pictures are present in a thread, the Blackberry can’t resize it properly, and the fonts look tiny and it forces you to zoom way in and then scroll back and forth as you read.
I guess what I’m saying is “STOP POSTING HUGE PICTURES!” That is all.

How the heck do you select an article for reading? I can see the main forum and all that, I select the article and nothing...zero...

BlackBerry has a browser. I can do anything on FR from that, but I don't post new stuff. Too tedious on such a small screen.
