Can I ask a special prayer from you all today. My dear sister Barbara starts her chemo treatments today. This chemo treatment as I understand is most difficult, if there can be such a thing! I think all chemo must be difficult personally.
But Barbara’s cancer is a very aggressive type , thus treatment will be aggressive too.
Thanks in advance.
Polly
ps. I’m using this post to ping my prayer warriors too.
Polly, special prayers being offered for your sister, Barbara.
Father, hear our prayers. Please hold and comfort Barbara as she faces this aggressive treatment. Stand with her family and give them strength. We ask in Jesus’ Name. Amen.
Our middle daughter has a co-worker who underwent chemo recently. Knowing of the hair loss which would occur, Shelley had her head shaved as an act of love and support for her friend.

It's become a regular occurrence for me to pop my buttons from pride with our three girls
You’re right, Polly. Chemo is a very difficult treatment on any body. Aggressive is more so. Special prayers for Barbara.
I will keep your sister Barbara in my prayers today. May God bless her with hope, strength and perserverance during this difficult time.
Standing with you in Prayer for Barbara, Dearest Polly.
Our Merciful Father, with All our Hearts we Lift Barbara before Your Throne of Grace. May Your Comfort Surround her in a Mighty Way, and Your Love Refresh her Sweet Heart. Please Carry these Difficult Burdens for her, Abba, and Fill her with Jesus' Strength. Thank You for the Loving Promises in Your Holy Word. 'You Saw me before I was Born, and Scheduled Each Day of my Life before I began to Breath. Every Day was Recorded in Your Book. How Precious it is, Lord, to Realize that You are Thinking about me Constantly. I can't Even Count How Many Times a Day Your Thoughts Turn Towards me. And when I Awaken in the Morning, You are still Thinking of me.' (Ps.139:16-18)
Please Shelter Barbara as she Walks through this Trial, Compassionate Lord. Please Mitigate the Chemotherapy's Side Affects, and Bring Healing to Your Dear Child. May her Doctors be Given the Mind and Wisdom of Jesus Christ. May they be Lead by Thy Spirit, and Directed by Thy Hand.
Thank You for Hearing us, our Father Most Gracious and Kind. 'The Lord will Work Out His Plans for my Life, for Your Lovingkindness, Lord, Continues Forever.' (Ps.138:8) In Jesus' Name, for the Glory and Praise of our King, amen.
