When I go to my son’s (or he comes here), he always requests the SAME thing: his favorite scalloped potatoes. Well, they are the same ones you are talking about - Betty Crocker. The only thing different that I do, is I add more milk, and two bunches of sliced green onions - tops and all.

I have made scalloped potatoes from scratch, but they just aren’t as good as ol’ Betty’s.

I totally agree. I bet if I used 2 boxes and a huge casserole of these, my family would not even know they were Betty Crocker's. It gives the recipe on back for 2 boxes!! I may try this the next time I have to take a dish to one of their get together's!!
