Well good, King’s Speech won the major awards, as it should.
Had to leave the tv as my laptop gave me the low battery warning. Only best picture left and that will be the producer? director? and who wants to see them any way. Looks like it will turn out to be a King’s sweep after all.

Bet you and I could belt out a good harmonic song. Just got to keep the notes in my part from a C to a G and I’ll sound great.

Shortest Oscar telecast in a long time. Cutting out those montages really helped. They should send the two Oscars for short features to a non-televised event and just announce the winners. Nobody knows this people or what they do.
And “The King’s Speech” takes it! Tough competition this year but this is well deserved, and if you haven’t seen the movie yet, make a point of it...

She looked stunning in the Alexander McQueen gown. She can look good with help.

True Grit was excellent, in many ways better than the original except as great as Jeff Bridges was I kept seeing John Wayne in the roll of Rooster Cogburn. The other actors were so much better than the originals it goes without saying.
Check it out. I’m at 2,954. I can do hair and makeup and I’m nowhere near Hollywood. lol

I hadn’t paid attention to the supporting cast. The Emperor Claudius, the sharp detective in ‘LA Confidential’, that b**t**d nobleman working for Queen Elizabeth. Some of the best actors on earth.
as a matter of fact i do love him... so happy for him... what a wonderful actor...
