I love my digital SLR but I've got a lot of time to burn and welcome anything to keep my head working.
I've got retired friends who just sit around like stumps, I don't want any part of that!
I visit or call and all I hear is about aches and pains and doctors, Hell, they aren't any older or more worn down than I am.
When the weather is better I get out in the garden but my big hobby is collecting Real Photo Post Cards (RPPC) of my local area from eBay. My wife says it is not a hobby but is a mental disorder but I say it keeps my brain active. I store them in Pioneer BSP-46 photo albums 6 on a page.
there’s a depth within film that digital just can’t seem to capture, no matter how many megapixels pushed

Great attitude there Swamp. Might help the rest of us to know just how far along in life you are. You know, so we can appreciate what we have to look forward to.
I trust since you are all male, I can ask the above without fear of retribution? Do you find FL any help as far as the physical?
Thanks again, I may not speak for all, but I enjoy the pics and the discussions on photography in general.
For example, light seals, they just might have been a sea creature for all I knew. Now I know better. Guess I should run some film through my old pentax, if I can find it, just to see how those light seals are doing.
