Justine Siegal became the first woman to pitch batting practice in a major league spring training camp when she threw to the Cleveland Indians on Monday.

Dude, it’s spring training BP. Who gives a rat’s ass who’s on the mound? She gets the ball over the plate, is throwing in the upper 60’s, low 70’s. Why not have her toss some BP...?
Impressive... my top velocity was 55 mph... that’s why I was banished to the outfield (where my speed/quickness was my contribution to the team).
Let alone one thrown by someone widely hailed to be one of the greatest athletes of the 20th century.
Exactly, no harm in letting Justine toss BP. As long as she can get it over the plate at a decent velocity, that’s all they need.
