Much too soon. Why is everyone always in such a hurry? Let him put in a term as governor first.
I agree that he has done well so far, but he hasn’t yet shown what he will accomplish.
Will he be able to stop RINO-inclined legislators from undermining his position? Will he push this one through, and then go on to do other good stuff?
We need to see whether he can follow through, and hang tough for the long haul. And he needs to gain administrative experience.
We need a party that is full of good, strong conservative leaders at every level. Which means that they have to prove themselves over time.
Why is FR always so quick to whack-a-mole? :)
The guy is right.
He’s brave. And he’s the only one doing what he’s doing.
So lead, follow or get out of the way.
Agreed.
And I believe Walker has government administrative experience. However, lets see whether, or how well he commands the Republican members of his legislature to achieve a suitable outcome before we put him at or near the top of the ticket.
Walker is the CEO of a government that at this moment is facing a microcosm of what the nation is, or will soon be facing. He very well may emerge as the only Republican politician who has hands on experience dealing effectively with that challenge. Folks should make no mistake as to who is conducting this round of community organizing; the executive ranks of the biggest unions in the U.S. include members of the Democratic Socialist of America.
I am not throwing Sarah under the bus, but I believe her experience was gained successfully dealing with corrupt political machinery and what we are looking at now is a different kind of hardball politics.
This isn’t about being in a hurry.
