I’m not sure this is a bad move. The ongoing dereliction of duty by the Wisconsin Rats isn’t impressing the public. And the prospect of major public job cuts caused by their absence continues to loom.

Cut jobs now, reduce benefits later, after the ‘rats return.

This isn't how this is going to be perceived. The press is already comparing the Dem's absence to Repub filibusters in the U.S. Senate. The Repubs will look like they are caving here because they ARE caving. The Repubs are behaving as if there is an iota of legitimacy to the unions' demands, let alone their existence.

Why, when victory is so close? As far as job cuts, it would be great if the unemployment would skyrocket as a result of this situation and it all be blamed on the Dems... but it won't.. it will be blamed on "those in power". The bigger issue is killing the unions, which the citizens of the state voted for. They could do it by Friday... but no, RINOs have prevailed...
