They are actually missionaries in both countries. When they are here they do missionary work as a way to earn enough money to go back to PNG and build roads and bring the Gospel to the furtherest regions of the jungle. They are great people and are NG natives. A couple of their girls have stayed here from time to time and got more schooling.

I remember from time to time that you are in Ala., my home state (sort of). I was born just across the line in Lincoln Co. TN and grew up in Huntsville, AL.

That makes sense to me. I admire them. I think perhaps it is harder for them to leave their families than it is for us.

During our 1999 - 2000 furlough, we lived in Taft and shopped at the BiLo in Fayetteville.
