A group of hacktivists acting under the banner, "Anonymous," has warned a church with a controversial history that unspoken retribution will follow it continues its practice of inflammatory protests.
In an open letter to the Westboro Baptist Church, Anonymous has put the anti-gay, fundamentalist church on notice that "the damage incurred will be irreversible," and that "neither your institution nor your congregation will ever be able to fully recover."
The Westboro Baptist Church is led by Rev. Fred Phelps. It has drawn particular attention for carrying out anti-gay protests at funerals of military servicemen with signs celebrating the deaths of the soldiers with signs like "God Hates the USA" or "Thank God for 9/11." The group operates a website with the URL godhatesfags.com.

Exactly.
Such warnings do not deter the evil,it only puts them on their guard.
Best "hacking" would be something that totally messed up the target AND the hacker never says a word or hint to anyone. The urge to brag has landed thousands in jails and graves.

Wouldn't surprise me if the “church” manufactured this. That said I am rooting for the hackers.

Ohhhh I see, I didn’t know that. The Westboro church is not part of the body of Christ. I really hate what they are doing. They are not following Jesus. They are abusing His precious name. What they do is a shameful thing.

They've been sued and they win. The "church" is only family members. I doubt they know Christ but they do know law. I can't remember all the details but they picketed a soldiers funeral, there was a lawsuit and the soldiers Father ended up owing them $18,000. I think Matt 7: 22-23 applies to people like them.
22 Many will say to me on that day, Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in your name and in your name drive out demons and in your name perform many miracles? 23 Then I will tell them plainly, I never knew you. Away from me, you evildoers!

Yes I remember now about the soldiers Father. That is beyond shameful. They have no clue as to who Christ is. Are they just covering themselves against some kind of lawsuit by posing as a church? I agree with the verse you posted, Matt 7:22-23 that would definitely apply to them. No one who knew Christ would do such a thing as they are doing.
Also Matt. 7:16 By their fruit you will recognize them.
These people are not my brothers our sisters in Christ. I just hope they see what they are doing before it's to late for them.

I just hope they see what they are doing before it's to late for them. Considering who their master is and their hatred I'm not too hopeful. But then that's why it's called a "miracle". :-)

Exactly!!! I have often thought, especially in the past, God can’t change a person because they are so bad and so far from Him. Only to be surprised. We may think it’s impossible, but, with God, everything is possible. :)
