Prophecy.
I saw this episode on Spike TV’s “1,000 ways to die”
I guess this guy didn’t.
They stripped every ounce of copper after his walk through, before the renovation. Just a strange eventuality in a $hithole that was uninhabited for years.
He was lucky that the power was down, as he would still be in court reconciling the settlements with the victims family if someone took a shocker whilst removing the wiring. He lost his a$$ financially. Those who assumed control used an politically connected arson based urban renewal mechanism to rectify the situation and walk away with a crapload of profit at the cost of a handshake and can of sterno.
Good! My mom works for an electrical contractor in Indianapolis, and copper wire theft is something they have obviously had to deal with.
The gene pool just got a little cleaner.
“For a moment at least, I suspect he actually was the brightest bulb in the room...”
You made my day.
The kilowatts didn’t do anything that the meth wouldn’t have done eventually.”
Just think how much taxpayer money was wasted putting this creep thru public school for a number of years!!!
The taxpayers get screwed from every angle.
Har!
A “10 for execution”.... zing!
lol
Ohm my this is shocking! This act has the capacity to induct him into the Darwin Hall of Fame. Too bad he wasn’t grounded in common sense.
The taxpayers won't have to pay for his trial, his defense at trial, or his incarceration ...
;'}
Around here they have to be a licensed contractor, or sign some statement and give a DL number or some such stuff. A couple of times over the past year, I’ve had a scrap guy pull up to our garage and try and sell us a load of copper pipes.
I talked to one of the guys, he had some story about how he didn’t have time to go to the scrap yard, and would sell me the whole rusted pickup bed full of copper for a song.
I told him to beat feet. I didn’t call the cops, but my wife said I should have, and in retrospect, I should have.
I wasn’t in the shop when the 2nd guy came around last summer, a Mexican guy with a van full of wire scraps and other odds and ends. Our shop foreman sent him packing.
So, I’m sure there are some trade shops acting as middle man for these scavengers.
This happens from time to time - thief got his reward, and saved the cost of a trial.
I couldn’t resist. Neither could he, apparently.
Ohm Ohm on the Range.......
What electricity can do to a tree: http://www.noob.us/miscellaneous/tree-death-by-electrocution/ (much slower, wood not being such a good conductor).
The penalty for breaking “Ohm’s Law” is shocking.

Sometimes God will get you.
"Copper thieves. Once in a while they are the brightest bulb on the tree."
“... opening scene of Idiocracy”.
Hysterical!
