Becoming a Hooters Girl isn't something everyone in the family will understand.
Chante Rivera did it a year and a half ago.
"My mom was so excited," said Rivera. "She's like, 'You're going to have so much fun there.
There is no law against Hooters in this country.
That being said, the last thing men and boys need is more sexual temptation in front of them. No good can come from it in terms of actions, words and thoughts.
When a woman breaks down and works there because the money is so tempting, she is using her body as something to tempt men and receives money for it. This ultimately hurts her in various ways far more than the money helps.
Selling out and giving in to vices for money is never the right answer to life’s problems.
That’s what my buddies who’ve been there tell me - the food is overpriced and just not very good.
Apparently, there are several knockoff chains following the Hooters formula - Show Me’s, Bone Daddy’s BBQ, and my favorite - Twin Peaks.
I might have to try that last one. I hear they have damn good coffee - black as midnight on a moonless night...

Looks a little high mileage for a 20yr old.

Agreed, but in Vermont we have Act 250, Commercial building permits require public hearings and almost anyone has standing to contest the application. Every feminoNazi in the state shows up and raises the various issues about zoning in 12 different statutory categories. WalMart was driven from many of Vermont communities in the same way.The whole process, its appeals and litigation are just not worth getting the building permits O Ked by the state. It costs too much and takes too much time.
So we go to New Hampshire .
Tease and get me drunk once, her fault...Tease me twice, her fault.
Ever been inside HOOTERS for a meal?
Just curious.
If guys are dumb enough to do that then the girls should take the money and run.
Well, I wouldn’t take my kids there.
I teach my sons that women are to be treated as sisters, and mothers, not ho’s.
And I teach my daughters that they can be pretty and modest at the same time; and they are not for ogling.
I have eaten at quite a few Hooters across the country and honestly can say I have never been sexually tempted at any of them. The food quality has varied from good to awful, but the service is usually better than average.
The waitresses can range from plain jane to stunning, and they usually will hop on a bar stool and talk for a few minutes. I have met everything from single-mom’s to college students to a girl from Romania with a diamond in her eye tooth who was going to medical school.
My wife likes Hooters. She wouldn’t approve of me going, much less go with me if she thought they were selling sex with a side of chicken.
Maybe customers are tipping for the service.
It’s another excellent opportunity to see the pic. Duh.
I go there to read the menus. Honest.
Blame your behavior on anyone but yourself and it’s still all on you. You just add one more negative to the list.
“Well, I wouldnt take my kids there.”
When a guy who’s supposedly in charge of a toddler in diapers brings the kid in and sets the kid on the bar (all the gurls just love it) and I’m sitting right next to them, I have to wonder...WTF?
HOOTERS are not Heroes! You play that game, you in BIG trouble BOY!
I gotta know...is this where you got that?
“*dowwww-dow-dow-dowwww*”
That’s Beefheart, boy-eee!
Thank you for the teenage neurotic’s CAP LOCK perspective. lol
Yes, once, I actually went to one for food, which was a greasy mess (and I love fried food). Even less appetizing due to the obvious nature of the waitresses trolling around - families ? Mommy and the kids eating there so daddy can gawk at the girls with them sitting right there ? Having the “sex sells” attitude amongst all the employees is “not good” for good food preparation and hygiene, as restaurant workers can regale you with enough tales that you would seriously reconsider eating out.
I ate some fries to stop my passing out from hunger, then went on down the road and ate some more somewhere else. I definitely do not want to have a “holier-than-thou” attitude, as my sins are many. And like I said, it’s a free country; shutting down every business we think is “sleezy” is impossible and a fool’s errand. I’m just trying to offer a little helpful hint to those who would think that “sex sells” is somehow the key to prosperity.
