This could very much be my Cleo if she were an outdoor kitty. She raids laundry baskets (dirty and clean) and drags out mostly socks to attack in the living room. It took me a little bit to figure out why I kept having to pick up so many socks all the time as I have never seen her in the act except for once. Thanks for the ping.

LOL! I liked some of the comments on the link:

Perfect cat for a lazy thief!

Why can’t the cat bring home jewelry?

You’re welcome.

My tomcat has a strange sock/foot fixation:

Loose socks? No problem!

Bare feet? Boooooring!

Socks on feet? BERSERKER! RAAAAAAAAH!

That boy ain’t right.

I had a friend who's little dog like to eat her pantyliner! Used ones from her wastebasket - yuk.

One night she had a party and the dog threw up one of them in the middle of her living room. I think she started disposing of them differently after that.

All 3 of our cats are good at that. A warm freshly washed sock is so much better than a cold dead cat toy that’s been slobbered on by the other kitties. Ours brag about it too. When they carry a sock through the house they’re meowing loudly the whole time.
