At first glance, the video is funny, just another in the long line of on-air bloopers from news reporters. However, it now appears that KCBS in Los Angeles Serene Branson may have suffered something far more serious than a live TV mistake. Shortly after the bizarre moment in the nights broadcast where she seemed to be unable to speak coherently, Branson was hospitalized with some speculating that she may have had a stroke.
In the video, Branson is attempting to cover the Grammys when her words just turn to gibberish and she tries and fails to correct herself. After the broadcast, the Emmy-nominated reporter was taken to a local hospital. However, this didnt stop the video from quickly going viral and being passed around on Tumblr and YouTube.

I can't believe they didn't make her go to the hospital. I can't believe it either. Did you read the comments at the last link you posted? About 90% of them are imploring her to get to a doctor to have further tests run.

My father had many of these symptoms at the end of December and was was diagnosed with an orange sized GBM My mother died with GBM at the age of 78, three months after diagnosis and surgery. It is a bad, bad cancer.

Thanks for sharing my friend. This news has devastated my family as I am sure yours was too. My dad is a tough old conservative, Southern Guy who was in the Air Force as well. While facing this thing, he stills states that there is nothing he hates more than this “why me crap” that some people fall into when given a bad deal in life. Even in this grim time, he has taught me what it means to be a strong person and states that he will never give up fighting this thing. He is the anti-liberal up until the end. (BTW - He moved to hospice not too long ago.)
