Deep down you know there is no way an American can compete with a Chinese slave, labor cost wise. Do you honestly think that if, 30 years ago the corp rate was reduced to 0% and unions outlawed here, it would have made one iota of a difference in what has occurred, free trade wise? I don’t.

Actually not true. There are socio-economic costs that come with semi-slave labor. Such as keeping peace, lower productivity, lower quality of produced goods, social tensions and constant threat of insurrection and unrest.

Last year there were 20,000 ‘incidents’ they had to handle China-wide. You never hear about it but it does go on. All those things combined cannot compete with a deregulated, highly efficient operation we could run here if we could get rid of gooberment interference.

Slaves earn wages? Who knew?

Given the labor costs in China, India, Africa, South America and the rest of Asia, how is it the US remains the world largest manufacturer? Why haven't we exported all our manufacturing to these low wage countries?
